Coat and Cook the Onions
- Dip each prepared onion into the buttermilk, and then coat in the seasoned flour mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the coated onions in the air fryer basket, spray the tops with cooking spray, and cook for 10-12 minutes.
Serve
- Prepare a dipping sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish sauce, and lemon juice.
- Once the onions are crispy and golden, serve them warm alongside the dipping sauce.
