- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and press a well into the center of each slice.
- Crack one egg into the well of each bread slice or whisk and pour in scrambled eggs.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese around or on top of the egg.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, depending on yolk preference.
- Season with salt and pepper, add fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
