  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  2. In a separate bowl, pour in 1 cup of milk and add 2 large eggs, ½ cup of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk these ingredients together until smooth.
  3. Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, and stir with a spatula until just combined.
