Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients and an oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a preheated skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  3. Add diced potatoes to the same skillet, cooking over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together room temperature eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the golden potatoes in the skillet. Sprinkle crispy bacon and shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cook on stovetop over medium-low heat for about 3 minutes until edges start setting but center is jiggly.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and light golden.
