  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grab a donut hole pan and set it aside.
  2. Pour 1½ cups of apple cider into a saucepan and simmer until it reduces to about ½ cup, approximately 20 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup of softened butter, ½ cup of light brown sugar, and ¼ cup of white sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1¾ cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the cooled apple cider, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  7. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until evenly distributed.
  8. Lightly grease your donut hole pan and fill each well about ¾ full with the batter.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. While baking, melt ½ cup of butter and mix ¼ cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
  11. Dip each baked donut hole in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  12. Let rest for a few minutes before serving warm.
