  • 1 cup Apple Pie Filling homemade or canned
  • 12 pieces Caramel Candy can substitute with chocolate or butterscotch
For Frying
  • 2-3 inches Vegetable Oil can substitute with canola or peanut oil
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar can use brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon consider using pumpkin pie spice

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Flatten each refrigerated biscuit into a 4-inch round using your hands or a rolling pin.
  4. Place a tablespoon of apple pie filling and half a caramel candy in the center of each dough round.
  5. Pinch the edges of the dough together tightly to form a ball.
  6. Carefully lower the sealed balls into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove fried bombs and drain on paper towels, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Let the bombs cool slightly before serving.
