- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.

- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend thoroughly.

- Add chives, thyme, rosemary, sage, and cheddar cheese. Stir gently until well combined.

- Pour buttermilk into the mixture and combine to form a sticky dough. Do not overmix.

- Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
