Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheeseburger Pockets
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes. If desired, add diced onions and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper, stirring until fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with shredded cheddar cheese and any optional ingredients such as sliced jalapeños. Stir until evenly distributed.
- Roll out the store-bought crescent roll or pizza dough on a floured surface. Cut into 4x4 inch squares.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over the filling, creating a triangle or rectangle shape. Press and crimp the edges securely.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the pockets on the sheet and bake for 22-25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before serving with dipping sauces.

Notes
Don't overstuff the pockets and seal them tightly to prevent leakage during baking. For optimal results, reheat in the oven rather than the microwave.
