Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheets by lining them with silicone mats or parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cold unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a stand mixer or hand mixer on medium speed.
  3. Next, crack in two large eggs and add vanilla extract to the creamed butter and sugar mixture. Mix on low speed until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in the red, white, and pink M&Ms along with the chocolate chips using a spatula.
  6. Using a 1/4 cup cookie scoop, portion out the dough into individual balls and roll each ball in Valentine sprinkles before placing on the baking sheets.
  7. Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and bake for 8-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them sit on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
