For the Garlic Bread
  • 1 loaf Italian-style Loaf opt for crusty bread
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter room temperature
  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic fresh or garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley substitute with basil if desired
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes adjust for heat preference
For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream half-and-half can be substituted
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese for gooey texture

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cut chicken breasts into ½-inch pieces. Toss chicken with olive oil until coated. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Slice loaf and spread garlic mixture on each half. Toast in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Sauté remaining minced garlic for 1 minute. Gradually stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer until thickened.
  4. Spread half of the Alfredo sauce on the toasted bread. Layer with cooked chicken and mozzarella cheese. Drizzle remaining sauce on top.
  5. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to melt cheese and meld flavors. Keep watch until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool for 1 minute. Slice into pieces and serve warm to enjoy the crunchy and creamy texture.
