Step-by-Step Instructions for Cruffins
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  2. Combine granulated sugar with ground cinnamon in a medium bowl and set aside.
  3. Unroll a crescent dough sheet onto a lightly floured surface to form a rectangle measuring approximately 13x8 inches.
  4. Spread softened butter evenly over the rolled-out dough and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log shape and pinch the seam to secure the filling.
  6. Cut the rolled dough log in half, then cut each half into six equal pieces.
