Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ketchup, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, mixing gently.
- Transfer the mixture onto a clean surface and shape it into a loaf. Place it into the loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together remaining glaze ingredients and brush half over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then brush remaining glaze over the top and continue baking.
- Continue baking for an additional 15 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Remove from oven and let rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
