  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese optional, for topping
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika or cayenne for a kick
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Beef Broth or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup Milk optional, or non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley for garnish, optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for an additional 3–4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Transfer beef mixture to the baking dish, layer with sliced potatoes, seasoning with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the potatoes, adding Parmesan if desired, then pour beef broth around the edges.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes to steam the potatoes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and potatoes are tender.
  8. Let sit for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
