  • 1/2 cup Fresh Orange Juice Always freshly squeezed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Zest the fresh oranges before juicing them. Set the zest aside.
  2. Squeeze enough fresh oranges to extract about 1/2 cup of juice, straining out seeds and optionally retaining some fine pulp.
  3. In a strong blender, combine the chilled coconut cream, fresh orange juice, zest, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Add honey or agave to taste. Blend until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding honey or agave one teaspoon at a time.
  5. Pour the blended mixture into serving glasses and cover with plastic wrap. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  6. Serve topped with crushed ice, garnished with a half-moon orange slice, shredded coconut, and a pinch of zest.
