Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, crumble and brown the Italian sausage for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently until nicely browned and cooked through.
  2. Add one diced onion to the pot and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the cubed potatoes, cooking for 12–15 minutes until fork-tender.
