For the Pasta
  • 200 g Spaghetti
For the Sauce
  • 240 ml Double / Heavy Cream
  • 3 cloves Garlic fresh, minced
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 30 g Butter
For the Prawns
  • 300 g Raw King Prawns
For Seasoning
  • teaspoon Black Pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, around 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Reserve 2 tablespoons of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add prawns, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add reserved pasta water and cream. Bring to a gentle boil, simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Reduce heat, add cooked spaghetti, toss to coat in sauce. Stir in cooked prawns and Parmesan, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, serve hot. Enjoy!
