Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add 8 ounces of sliced fresh mushrooms and sauté for 8-10 minutes until browned and tender.
  2. Lower the heat to medium-low, add 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and ½ cup of sour cream. Stir until the cream cheese melts completely.
  3. Incorporate ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until all the cheeses are melted and well distributed.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Transfer the creamy mixture into an oven-safe skillet, top with ½ cup of shredded mozzarella. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
