  • 1 Red Chilli Use fresno chilies for medium spice

Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare three shallow bowls; one for beaten eggs, one for flour mixed with salt and pepper, and one for panko mixed with paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat chicken strips first in the flour, then dip in eggs, and finally roll in the panko mixture.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken goujons on the baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Prepare the chimichurri by mixing olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, and red chili in a bowl.
  7. Serve the baked chicken goujons warm with the chimichurri sauce.
