Filling Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, light soy sauce, and Shaoxing wine. Mix until sticky and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Add grated ginger, minced green onions, grated carrot, canned corn, salt, cornstarch, and sesame oil to the marinated chicken. Mix well.
Dumpling Assembly
- Lay out dumpling wrappers and wet edges with water. Place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center and seal tightly.
- Cover assembled dumplings with a damp paper towel.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add dumplings and fry until golden brown.
- Pour in water, cover, and steam until cooked through.
Serving
- Remove lid and crisp up for additional minute before serving.
