Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, add the peeled and deveined large shrimp and cover them completely with buttermilk. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. After marinating, dredge each shrimp in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
  4. Heat enough vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully lower the coated shrimp into the oil in small batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Transfer fried shrimp to a paper towel-lined sheet to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Plate the crispy shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley, serving hot.
