- In a medium bowl, add the peeled and deveined large shrimp and cover them completely with buttermilk. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- After marinating, dredge each shrimp in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
- Heat enough vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully lower the coated shrimp into the oil in small batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer fried shrimp to a paper towel-lined sheet to absorb any excess oil.
- Plate the crispy shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley, serving hot.
