- Melt butter in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat, about 2 minutes.
- Add thinly sliced potatoes in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 10 minutes.
- Flip potatoes, add sliced onions, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, cover and cook on low for 10-15 minutes.
- When fork-tender, pour chicken broth in and add remaining butter, cover and steam for 5 minutes.
- Remove lid and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until desired crispiness.
- Transfer to serving dish and enjoy.
