  1. Start by freezing an extra-firm block of tofu overnight. Thaw and press to remove moisture, then cut into cubes.
  2. Combine cornstarch, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl. Toss tofu cubes in the mixture until evenly coated.
  3. Cook the tofu by air frying at 375°F for 18-22 minutes, flipping every 7 minutes, or baking at 400°F for 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. In a saucepan, combine orange juice, zest, soy sauce, and sugar. Simmer until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked tofu with the orange sauce in a large bowl until well-coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or extra orange zest, ideal with steamed rice or quinoa.
