  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded, can be replaced with dairy-free variant
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds or substitute with pumpkin seeds for nut-free
  • 1/2 cup Dried Cranberries can substitute with other dried fruits
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise can use Greek yogurt or plant-based mayo
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar for tanginess
  • 1 tablespoon Honey adjust to taste or omit for sugar-free
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash fresh broccoli thoroughly under cool running water. Chop into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets with bacon, red onion, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, and cranberries. Toss gently.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
