  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Grated
  • 6-8 strips Crispy Bacon Cooked, crumbled
  • 3-4 Green Onions Chopped, using both white and green parts
  • 1 tablespoon Dill Optional, chopped
For the Dressing
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix Flavor base
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be used instead
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise Use lighter version if desired
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of sour cream, ½ cup of mayonnaise, and 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix. Stir everything together until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Wash and slice 2-3 medium cucumbers into thin rounds and chop 3-4 green onions. If using, chop 1 tablespoon of fresh dill.
  3. Grate 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese and crumble 6-8 cooked bacon strips. Add these to the dressing along with the chopped cucumbers and green onions.
  4. Gently toss all ingredients together until coated with the ranch dressing, being careful not to mash the cucumbers.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then toss again to incorporate. Taste to ensure the flavors balance.
  6. Cover the bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  7. Before serving, gently toss the salad and serve chilled as a side dish or light entrée.
