Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Combine 1 cup of water, ½ cup of unsalted butter, ¼ cup of brown sugar, and a pinch of salt in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.
  2. Remove from heat, cool for 10 minutes, then stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  3. Add 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly until smooth.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Pipe 3-4 inch long churro shapes onto baking sheets.
  6. Lightly spray piped dough with oil and mist with water.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
