Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of kosher salt. In another bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of whole milk, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 2 large eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Gently combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Take 3 ripe bananas and cut them in half lengthwise, then slice each half into quarters.
- In a non-stick skillet or air fryer, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Take each banana piece and dip it into the pancake batter, ensuring it's thoroughly coated on all sides.
- Carefully place the coated banana pieces into the hot skillet. Cook them for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove your Banana Pancake Dippers from the skillet or air fryer and let them cool slightly on a paper towel.
