Preparation
- Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips.
- Wash and chop the fresh bell peppers and onions into bite-sized pieces.
- Place all the prepared ingredients in separate bowls.
Marinating and Cooking
- Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and cracked black pepper in a bowl.
- Add beef strips and toss well, then let marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil to the hot skillet.
- Add marinated beef strips in a single layer and sear for 3-4 minutes.
- Remove beef from skillet and add chopped bell peppers and onions, stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Return beef to skillet, add remaining marinade, and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the stir fry onto plates and garnish with green onions.
