Preparation
- Combine lemon-lime soda and cornstarch in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until thickened, about 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the strawberry gelatin until fully dissolved. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Wash, hull, and halve the strawberries, then place in a large mixing bowl.
- Gently fold the cooled gelatin mixture into the strawberries, ensuring all berries are coated.
- Pour the strawberry filling into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
- Chill the filled pie in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to set.
- Once set, slice and serve chilled, optionally garnished with whipped cream.
