Step-by-Step Instructions for Money Bag Dumplings
  1. Soak dried shiitake mushrooms in hot water for about 20-30 minutes until tender.
  2. Heat a wok over medium heat and add vegetable oil. Sauté minced ginger and diced carrots for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add diced shiitake mushrooms and chopped bamboo shoots. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until aromatic.
  4. Pour in Shaoxing wine, light soy sauce, and vegetarian oyster sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Fold in chopped scallions and let the filling cool completely in a bowl.
  6. Prepare dumpling wrappers as needed, keeping them covered to prevent drying out.
  7. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of a wrapper and pinch edges to form a pouch.
