Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the Yukon Gold potatoes, then slice them thinly, aiming for about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine freshly grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Grease each muffin cup with butter or cooking spray.
  5. Layer the potato slices upright in the muffin tin, sprinkling Parmesan mixture between layers.
  6. Add small dots of butter on top of each stack and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes, then lift out the stacks.
