Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by zesting two fresh oranges and collecting the peel. Cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice, removing any seeds.
  2. In a large saucepan, pour in 4 cups of water, add 2 cinnamon sticks and orange zest. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the black tea bags to the pan, cover, and let steep for 3 to 5 minutes based on preferred strength.
  4. Remove from heat and strain out the cinnamon sticks and tea bags. Stir in the orange juice and sweetener, then combine with 4 cups of cold water.
  5. Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
  6. Fill glasses with ice, pour over the chilled tea, and add garnishes as desired.
