- Wash and dry the medium russet or Idaho potatoes thoroughly under cool running water. Pierce each potato several times with a fork.
- Lightly spray the pierced potatoes with olive oil. Sprinkle approximately 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt and some black pepper on each potato.
- Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, set to 400°F, and cook for 35-40 minutes. Turn the potatoes halfway through for even cooking.
- Check the doneness by piercing with a fork. If not tender, continue cooking in 2-minute increments until fluffy.
- Let the potatoes cool for a minute before slicing them open. Fluff the insides and add your choice of toppings.
