Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small saucepan, pour in about 2 cups of whole milk and place it over medium heat. Stir continuously with a whisk for approximately 5 minutes, or until the milk is steaming but not boiling.
- Add a cup of white chocolate chips into the saucepan with the heated milk. Keep whisking continuously for about 3-4 minutes until the chocolate melts completely and the mixture becomes smooth and velvety.
- Once the chocolate is melted, remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and half a teaspoon of peppermint extract, mixing well.
- Gradually add a few drops of blue gel food coloring to the mixture, stirring well after each addition. Continue adjusting until you reach your desired shade of frosty blue.
- Pour the hot Frostbite Blue Christmas Cocoa into mugs, leaving some room for toppings. Generously dollop whipped cream on each serving, then sprinkle with chocolate shavings and festive sprinkles.
