Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese
  1. In a medium bowl, combine unsalted butter, minced garlic, grated Pecorino Romano cheese, and finely chopped Italian parsley. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
  2. Take the slices of bread and generously spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice to cover the entire surface.
  3. Place 2 slices of American cheese between 2 slices of the buttered bread, ensuring buttered sides are facing outward. Press down gently.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet, cooking undisturbed.
  5. Flip the sandwich over to cook the other side once golden brown. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove from the skillet and let it sit for a minute before slicing.
