  • 0.33 teaspoon Cumin Optional for a milder flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing shrimp.
For the Avocado Topping
  • 1 large Avocado Ripe for creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Fresh lime is ideal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil and bake for about 8–10 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper, and cook for approximately 5–7 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. While shrimp are cooking, slice avocado in half, remove the pit, and mash it in a bowl with lime juice and a pinch of salt.
  6. Spread the avocado mixture on crostini, top with sautéed shrimp, and serve immediately for best flavor.
