  • 12 ounces Cheese Tortellini Fresh refrigerated preferred
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Quality butter preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing
  • 10 leaves Fresh Sage Fresh recommended
For the Veggies
  • 8 ounces Cremini Mushrooms Can substitute with button or portobello
  • 2 cloves Garlic Mince finely
For Topping
  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese Grate before use
To Season
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil the tortellini in a large pot of salted water for about 7 minutes until tender.
  2. Chop the cremini mushrooms and fresh sage finely.
  3. In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Sauté the chopped sage for about 1 minute until crispy.
  5. Sauté the mushrooms and minced garlic for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Combine cooked tortellini with the sautéed mushrooms, butter, and Parmesan.
  7. Stir in crispy sage and season with salt and pepper before serving.
