Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and tools.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni for 6-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, combine ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. Mix gently.
  4. In a saucepan, warm the milk and add cheddar cheese, stirring until melted. Set aside.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the drained macaroni, meatloaf mixture, and pour the cheese sauce on top. Sprinkle additional cheese or breadcrumbs.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
