- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and tools.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni for 6-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. Mix gently.
- In a saucepan, warm the milk and add cheddar cheese, stirring until melted. Set aside.
- In a baking dish, layer the drained macaroni, meatloaf mixture, and pour the cheese sauce on top. Sprinkle additional cheese or breadcrumbs.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
