Recipe Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine yeast with warm milk and a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and orange zest.
  3. Add foamy yeast mixture, beaten eggs, orange juice, and softened butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Shape dough into a ball and let it rise for 2–3 hours until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or rolls. Let rise for another 1–2 hours.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake brioche for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
