Preparation and Cooking
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cold cream cheese, drained crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If using biscuit dough, flatten each piece to create a round shape. For wonton wrappers, cover with a damp cloth.
- Place approximately 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of each dough piece or wonton wrapper. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch sealed tightly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). For baking, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Carefully place the bombs into hot oil, frying for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. For baking, cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
