Preparation Steps
- Freeze the beef for 30–45 minutes, then slice into ¼-inch thick strips against the grain.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, BBQ sauce, and spices.
- Place sliced beef in a ziplock bag, pour marinade over, seal and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Dehydrate the beef in a dehydrator at 160°F (70°C) for 4–6 hours, or in a preheated oven at 175°F (80°C) for about 4 hours.
- Once dried, cool the jerky at room temperature and store in an airtight container.
