Step-by-Step Instructions for Butter Toffee Pretzels
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches a rolling boil, then bubble for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then stir in vanilla extract and baking soda carefully as it will bubble up.
- In a large mixing bowl, place the pretzel snaps and pour the warm toffee over them, mixing until fully coated. Add Heath bits and mix again.
- Spread the pretzels in a single layer on the baking sheet, bake for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
