Ingredients

For the Burger Mixture
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey A lean choice that provides a moist and hearty patty.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Feel free to use crushed crackers, panko, or oatmeal as a substitute.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Enhances flavor and moisture; swap with any grated hard cheese if needed.
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion Offers a hint of sweetness and crunch; shallots can be used for a milder taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Helps keep the mixture moist; vegetable oil is a suitable alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder Adjust to your heat preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin Essential for that earthy depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic works just as well.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Provides a subtle sweetness and vibrant color.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Boosts the heat level; omit if you prefer a less spicy burger.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Key seasoning to elevate all flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Key seasoning to elevate all flavors.
  • 1 large Egg Binds the mixture; for a vegan option, use ground flaxseed mixed with water.
For Serving
  • 4 whole Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns A healthier alternative; swap for lettuce wraps for a gluten-free option.
