Infusion Process
- Start by muddling a few slices of jalapeño in a clean glass jar using the back of a spoon. Pour in 2 cups of quality tequila blanco, followed by a handful of fresh cucumber slices. Seal the jar tightly and let it infuse for 8 to 12 hours.
Preparing the Glasses
- In a shallow bowl, mix granulated sugar and kosher salt. Run fresh lime wedges along the rim of each glass, then dip into the sugar-salt mixture until well coated.
Mixing the Cocktail
- Gather a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice halfway. Pour in 2 oz of the infused tequila, followed by 1 oz of orange liqueur and 3/4 oz of fresh lime juice. Secure the shaker lid tightly and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Serving the Cocktail
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge and a couple of sliced jalapeños on the rim of each glass.

Notes
Allow the tequila to infuse for at least 8 hours for deeper flavors. Always use fresh ingredients for the best taste.
