Preparation Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F. Clean and lightly oil the grates.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with chopped onion, cilantro, minced garlic, and diced jalapeño. Add cumin, paprika, lime juice, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into six portions and form into patties, slightly larger than buns. Indent the center of each patty.
  4. Place patties on the grill. Grill for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Transfer burgers to a plate, cover loosely with foil, and let them rest for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Assemble burgers on buns with guacamole, tomato slices, and lettuce. Serve immediately.
