- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F. Clean and lightly oil the grates.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with chopped onion, cilantro, minced garlic, and diced jalapeño. Add cumin, paprika, lime juice, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into six portions and form into patties, slightly larger than buns. Indent the center of each patty.
- Place patties on the grill. Grill for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Transfer burgers to a plate, cover loosely with foil, and let them rest for 3-5 minutes.
- Assemble burgers on buns with guacamole, tomato slices, and lettuce. Serve immediately.
