- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper and nonstick spray.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until lump-free.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with apple cider.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and apple cider to make the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake and allow it to set before slicing.
