Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans, filling each about two-thirds full.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool the loaves in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and almond extract until smooth.
