- Gather fresh dandelions, tea bags, sugar or honey, and filtered water.
- Rinse the fresh dandelions thoroughly in a fine mesh strainer under cool running water.
- Bring about 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a kettle.
- Place tea bags and prepared dandelions in a gallon container and pour in boiling water to steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the tea bags and dandelions from the mixture, then stir in sugar or honey until dissolved.
- Fill the rest of the gallon container with cold filtered water and chill in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
