  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium Onion (sliced) sweet or yellow
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (minced) fresh
  • 1 medium Carrot (sliced) thinly or julienned
  • 2 stalks Spring Onions (chopped)
For the Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (low-sodium)
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil or sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper to taste
Optional Topping
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook your desired noodles according to the package instructions, usually taking 5-7 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water, then set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce and soy sauce, stirring until well blended. Set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add more oil if needed. Toss in minced garlic, chopped spring onions, and minced ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add sliced onion, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots. Stir and cook for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add prepared noodles and sauce mixture to the pan. Toss gently for about 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  7. Return cooked shrimp to the pan, sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Toss for 1 more minute, garnish with spring onions, and serve hot.
