- In a medium bowl, combine the smoked paprika, chili powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and salt. Mix well using a whisk or fork until evenly blended.
- Add the raw shrimp to the spice mixture, along with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss until the shrimp is fully coated.
- Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and preheat over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil into the hot skillet and heat for about 30 seconds.
- Carefully place the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the skillet. Sauté for approximately 2 minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, remove the blackened shrimp from the skillet and transfer them to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon slices and chopped herbs.
