Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Cheeseburger Bowls
  1. Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet and cook for 20–25 minutes at 425°F, or until golden brown and crispy.
  2. While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of canola oil. Once hot, add the lean ground beef, seasoning it generously with Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 7–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. In individual serving bowls, layer a generous amount of chopped romaine lettuce as the base. Top each bowl with your cooked Cajun beef, a handful of crispy fries, and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  4. Add quartered cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onions, and quartered dill pickles to your bowls. Sprinkle crumbled bacon for added crunch if desired.
  5. Drizzle your assembly with mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard. For a lighter twist, feel free to swap mayonnaise for Greek yogurt. Serve immediately.
